Parking and Route Closure Information

Event Day Parking - Two Options

This year we are pleased to offer two options for participant parking! Choose to park at either the Dewey Lot in Hanover (walking distance to the HERO) or at Lot 20 in Lebanon (shuttle service provided to the HERO). Details below:

1. Dewey Lot Parking NO SHUTTLE SERVICE. Quick 1/2 mile walk to the HERO site.

2. Lot 20 Parking SHUTTLE PROVIDED
   Loop Road
   Lebanon, NH
   Lot 20 is located between the outer loop of the hospital and Colburn Hill. Shuttle buses will run from Lot 20 to the CHaD HERO event area starting at 6:45.

   Note: When choosing your parking location, please allow for time to walk or shuttle to the HERO site and check-in/bib pick up (if necessary).

   Please note: School buses/vans transporting students to the event should drop everyone off at the Dartmouth Green (with an adult) and NOT Lot 20, and then drive the buses/vans back to Lot 20.

Accessible Parking

Handicap accessible parking is available in downtown Hanover. Here is a map of the area. Here is a street view.

Road Closures

CHaD HERO 2023 road closures will take place in Hanover, NH only. No road closures will take place in Norwich, VT. Please note that the Occom/Rope Ferry neighborhood will be accessible to residents only with police assistance.
