Battle of the Badges
2026 marks the 18th year of the Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship benefiting Dartmouth Health Children’s and CHaD. The game brings firefighters, first responders and police officers from across the state together to compete and raise critical awareness and funds for Dartmouth Health Children’s. Each player commits to fundraising and is partnered with a Dartmouth Health Children’s Ambassador as a way to deepen their engagement and connect with the game’s mission. Annually, the game attracts nearly 5,000 attendees and has raised over $3.5 million since it’s inception.

Dollars in Action
Every dollar raised through Battle of the Badges supports children and families facing medical challenges, ensuring they receive world-class care at Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). Your contributions help fund critical services, advanced treatments, and family support programs that make a real difference in their lives. Each donation brings us closer to providing hope, healing, and brighter futures for young patients and families we serve.
