The Prouty 2025

Harriet's Team

Harriet Follansbee DeMark was an active, vibrant and young 73 year old woman who was blindsided by a double whammy of stage 4 Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Pancreatic cancers in the final days of 2024.  The valiant doctors and staff of the Dartmouth Cancer Center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center developed a quality of life centered approach to treat Harriet humanely and safely, knowing those treatment options were limited due to the presence and impact of two aggressive cancers.

We cannot say enough about the compassion and attention all the staff at the Dartmouth Cancer Center paid to Harriet.  Harriet’s family and friends want to do what they can to help further the patient care and cancer research at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to someday be able to detect, fight and beat what took Harriet and others.  That is why they are participating in the 2025 Prouty and hope you will too by joining Harriet’s Team.

There are two ways you can help us support patients, doctors and caregivers in the fight against cancer:
  1. Join our team! Register today by clicking the ‘register’ button.
  2. Make a gift by clicking the ‘donate’ button to help us reach our goal. Or you can click an individual's name to donate to their personal fundraising efforts.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that would otherwise be unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.

Thank you for your support!

Together we are changing lives. Together we will end cancer.
