PROUTY: ROW
Welcome to Prouty Row! The Prouty Row takes place on the beautiful Connecticut River launching and landing from the Kendal Riverfront Park rowing docks at 84 Lyme Road, Hanover, NH. Prouty Row is not timed, nor is it considered a "race." You can choose your own distance: 5, 10, or 15 miles, in an "out and back" format. Mile buoys mark the distances.
Prouty Row takes place on Saturday, July 11 in Hanover, NH.
There is one Prouty Row SAG stop that is at Kendal River Front Park. This will allow rowers of all levels to partake in this celebratory SAG stop. Breakfast items (bagels, fruit, etc.) will be available prior to the row; a more substantial spread will be available following.

The Prouty Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony is an opportunity to unite as one powerful, cancer-fighting force before starting your Prouty. Come celebrate the Prouty community and their accomplishments and hear moving stories about the Prouty’s impact from your fellow Prouty-ers.
7:00am at Kendal Riverfront Park
Launching will commence after the opening ceremony.

There is one land-based stop-and-go (SAG) stops at the start/finish area at Kendall Riverfront Park and it is equipped with food, water, porta johns, Gatorade, sunscreen, band-aids, and basic tools.
There are seven motorized Prouty Safety Launches on the river which can provide water, snacks, tools and medical supplies.
Event Details
All rowers are expected to provide their own rowing shell. Limited rental opportunities may be available through the Upper Valley Rowing Foundation. Contact Carin Reynolds at carin.reynolds@gmail.com.
The Kendal Riverfront Park site will be open for trailer and boat drop-off and parking from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, July 10, and beginning at 6:30am on Saturday, July 11. On Saturday morning, the dock opens for the first launch immediately following the opening ceremony launch at approximately 7:15am.
Launch times will be assigned at check-in and all boats must check-in/out with the Kendal Riverfront Park Dock Master. This also applies to team boats that launch from the Dartmouth College Boathouse. All rowers must be off the river by 12pm. There is a launch cut-off time of 9am.
After your row, enjoy the riverfront park and the Kendal SAG stop and/or join us at the Richmond Middle School, where you can enjoy the all-day Prouty Party with other participants. (Richmond Middle School is a 20 minute walk from Kendal Riverfront Park.)
