Welcome to Ted Martellini's Prouty fundraising page

Hi gang,
This Saturday I will be participating in The Prouty bike ride along with several Belmont Hill School colleagues (and hundreds of others). The BHS team will be honoring the passing of a great friend and colleague, Bill Mahoney, who died last August from melanoma. A hard thing about losing Bill is that I know he would have loved to participate in a ride like this. I am also riding for several other friends and family members who are battling with or have succumbed to cancer this past year.
All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Darthmouth Cancer Center, and also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as transportation and grocery assistance.
I am not very good at asking for money, but I am ok at biking, so I am going to contribute sweat and some of my own money to this cause. My aim is to complete the entire 100-mile ride in hilly NH. Hopefully I don't end up in a ditch somewhere. I know you all have many other things you can donate to, but cancer is a reality that touches all of us, so I hope you'll consider supporting my ride with a contribution as well.
You can donate by clicking the ‘donate’ button on this page. Hope starts here.
Thank you for considering this request.
Ted
