Welcome to TYSON TRAUTZ's Personal Page
This July, I will be participating in the 100-mile ride portion of The Prouty, a fundraising event that has supported the Dartmouth Cancer Center in Hanover, NH since 1982.
I'm riding as part of a team of Belmont Hill employees—"Bill's Bikers"—formed in honor of our dear colleague and friend, Bill Mahoney, who passed away in August 2024 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Bill served as Belmont Hill’s Director of Communications since 2006 and was a vital part of our community. Notably, I rode alongside him in the 2010 Pan-Mass Challenge in memory of Cliff Goodband, our longtime Upper School Director. While it is heartbreaking to have lost Bill, it feels deeply meaningful that a new group of colleagues is coming together to honor him—this time, on two wheels.
I invite you to join me in supporting the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Whether you’ve personally been affected by cancer, have lost someone to it, or know someone currently undergoing treatment, this cause touches all of us. My goal is to raise a substantial contribution to help ensure that the next generation has access to better treatments, care, and ultimately, cures.
Your donation will directly support:
· Innovative research in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
· Support services for patients and families that are not covered by insurance, such as art and massage therapy, transportation, grocery assistance, and support groups
Every mile we ride brings us closer to hope. Thank you for considering a contribution—and for being part of this effort to honor Bill’s memory and support all those affected by cancer.
Thank you for your support!
All the best,
Tyson
