Two years ago, I lost my dad to cancer. He received care at Dartmouth Cancer Center, and although his illness was too advanced for treatment to make a difference, we are forever grateful for the compassion and support he received.

This year, I’m participating in The Prouty- 17 mile Moutain bike —joining thousands of others in biking, walking, rowing, and more to raise critical funds for Dartmouth Cancer Center. I’m doing this in honor of my dad, and in hope that future patients and families will benefit from earlier diagnoses, more effective treatments, and the care every person facing cancer deserves.

More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. It’s a reality that affects all of us and the people we love.

That’s why I Prouty.

Every dollar I raise supports groundbreaking cancer research and essential patient services at Dartmouth Cancer Center.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
