This year, I’ll be riding as a Prouty Ultimate once again, with Kathy by my side (or more likely a few miles ahead)! When I interviewed for my position as Cancer Center Director back in 2017, I heard from everyone how amazing and impactful The Prouty was, both to the community and the Cancer Center. Yet nothing could prepare me for how truly magnanimous the event and its community would be. I soon learned – and The Prouty has become the highlight of my year.

This year will be my last Prouty as Cancer Center Director, as I’ll be stepping down from the role in 2026, and I plan to go out with a bang! This year I’m raising the bar and setting my fundraising goal at $100,000. Help me get there and click that donate button today.

The Prouty makes so much possible at Dartmouth Cancer Center. All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage therapy, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.

Additionally, I’m thrilled to share that this year, if The Prouty reaches its goal of raising $10 million, we will be able to allocate $1 million to enriching our cancer survivorship program, including expansion of mental health services needed for patients, loved ones, and survivors.
