Initially launched by Christine in memory of her father, the Beam Team has been riding strong and proud in support of The Prouty for more than 20 years. Every year, we join thousands of others in our community — biking, walking, rowing, golfing — all to raise funds for the Dartmouth Cancer Center and the fight against cancer.

Over those years, cancer has touched all of our lives — through the heartbreak of losing friends and family, and the inspiring triumphs of those who have fought and won. It’s a universal challenge that affects the people we love most, with more than one in three facing a diagnosis in their lifetime. That’s why we come together: to fund groundbreaking research, support patients and families, and move hope forward.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
