I will be riding in the 2024 Prouty on the Wonder Women Team for the 4th time on July 13th. 

This is an emotional event each year.  I think of what it was like when I was diagnosed with breast cancer almost 20 years ago. I think of my parents who both died far too early of cancer. I also think of the many close friends and relatives that have been diagnosed with various cancers. When I worked at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, I spoke with many residents over the years about their cancer diagnosis and heard the emotion in their voices.

There has been so much progress in the early detection and treatment of cancers, thanks in part to research at Dartmouth Cancer Center. Money raised through The Prouty advances research and provides patient and family support services.
