I’m a bit late with this this year, but after a lot of deliberation, I decided to participate in The Prouty one more time to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Together, with thousands of others who will bike, walk, row, golf, etc., we will go all in to end cancer. 

More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes.* Every year, it seems that I add another name to those in whose honor I ride. And, this year, one of my reasons for procrastinating on sending this, is that it became personal for me. I hope you’ll support me in this quest to conquer this dreaded disease that touches so many families. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
