As the photo on this page reflects, this year I am participating in my 20th Prouty. Since my first century ride in 2005, with friends Dale, Fred, Tom, and Annie, I have ridden thousands of miles in all weather conditions (except snow) with many friends and family members. We formed our family team in 2006, Three Generations, along with Susan’s parents and our kids and have raised several hundred thousand dollars over the years, thanks to many generous donors. I have also met so many amazing people, cancer survivors, and fellow riders who all share the same goal; help support patients and families who are dealing with cancer and researchers and clinicians who are searching for cures. 

I recently had the privilege of touring the cancer center at Dartmouth and talking with researchers and doctors about the amazing advancements they have made, many of which started with funding from The Prouty. I left the center with a renewed commitment to “go all in to end cancer.” Feel free to reach out to hear more about what I learned. 

This year I am hoping to be an Ultimate, riding two days in a row and taking on a greater fundraising commitment. Please consider donating (or donating again) and perhaps donating a little more in honor of my 20 years and the continued need for this critical funding. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
