I’m just one of the thousands participating in The Prouty, Dartmouth Cancer Center’s largest fundraiser.  It’s a great event started decades ago to celebrate and memorialize Rick’s Aunt Audrey Prouty. The nurses who were her primary treatment team loved her so much that they rode their bikes though the White Mountains of New Hampshire to raise a few thousand dollars for the Cancer Center.  Now, in 2024, the goal is $8million!  And we can do it with your help. I will be walking at least 10k that day with many family members and I will be carrying yellow ribbons for as many names of loved ones you send me.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
