Welcome to Team Cirque des Sore Legs!
This year, I will be participating in The Prouty along with thousands of my fellow community members who will bike, walk, row, golf and more to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Together, we will go all in to end cancer.
Our team, Cirque des Sore Legs, will be doing a variety of activities at the 2024 edition of the Prouty. Dave B will be doing the challenging gravel bike ride; Justin will be riding the 50 mile bike ride, and Jennie and I will be walking in Hanover. We will be trying to figure out the most shade friendly routes in the Hanover area. Our butts are tired of riding on bike seats HA HA.
More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes.* It’s a universal problem that touches everyone, including the most important people in our lives. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

Jennie is a very young breast cancer survivor. Her sister has recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Dave and I have had multiple family members with cancer diagnoses, going back to the 1990's. So we have clearly been surrounded by friends and family who have had cancer diagnoses, and some difficult cancer treatment journeys.
Here are two ways that you can help support patients, doctors and caregivers in the fight against cancer:
- Join me! Register for The Prouty today.
- Make a gift to my Prouty fundraiser and help me reach my goal. Click the ‘donate’ button to support my efforts in the 2024 Prouty.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for your support!
Together, we are changing lives. Together, we will end cancer.
I am registered for the Prouty Walk in 2021.
