The 10th Annual Team Tennis to Smash Cancer (TTSC) will raise funds to sponsor a Team Tennis Pilot Project. Pilot projects fuel vital research at Dartmouth Cancer Center by providing seed-funding to innovative scientists who have dedicated their lives to discovering new and better ways to treat cancer and enhance survivorship. On average, every $1 invested in pilot project research leads to $12 in additional funding from other sources! This will be the first year TTSC fully funds a Pilot Research Project.
In the spring researchers at Dartmouth Cancer Center will apply to receive the Team Tennis Prouty Pilot to launch their innovative idea. We plan to share details of the selected project with everyone who helped support this exciting endeavor.

In 2023 TTSC raised over $50,000 to support the expansion of the Dartmouth Cancer Center Food pantry. More than 22% of the patients who receive their care at Dartmouth Cancer Center face food insecurity. Many of our patients have been making the difficult choice between food and treatment.
When the Food Pantry program launched, we started by serving a few of DCC’s cancer groups. Over the past year, we have extended the program to serve all 10 cancer groups and we are now able to help provide food for any cancer patient in need. In FY23, we provided 550 orders of food and in FY24 we doubled that number, providing 1,042 orders. Additionally, as a direct result of the support of TTSC participants, sponsors, and donors, the Cancer Center will be beginning the physical expansion of the Food Pantry this fall. Thank you for being a part of this important program!
