Hi everyone! I will be participating in the annual Team Tennis to Smash Cancer event this Saturday. This will be my 9th year participating and planning this fun and meaningful event. This year I will be playing in memory of my Dad, who passed away on January 3, 2023 from complications due to colon cancer and Parkinson's Disease.
I've also experienced my own battle with cancer this year after being diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on my 54th birthday. I'm grateful to all of the clinicians involved in Dartmouth Hitchcock's comprehensive breast program for helping me through a course of surgery and radiation. Everyone on our team "Survival Mode" has a friend or family member lost to cancer. This is why we play.
Thank you for considering a donation. I know there are many causes to support and I'm grateful for the consideration.
Funds raised through the 2023 Team Tennis to Smash Cancer will directly support the expansion of the Dartmouth Cancer Center Food Pantry - making sure no Dartmouth Cancer Center patient goes hungry.
Thank you for your support!
xoxo
Janet
