Dear Friends and Family...
Once again I am participating and co-chairing the 8th Annual Team Tennis to Smash Cancer – Sunday, November 13, 2022. It's a fun day of tennis in my community where I can smash some balls, serve some aces and laugh with my teammates - all while raising money for Dartmouth Cancer Center - where the research and the supportive services provided to patients helped my sister and my mother.
My sister Barbara passed from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We reached out to Doctors at the Cancer Center who helped coordinate some of her care in Florida, but the cancer was aggressive. My mother Carolyn passed just recently - she had breast cancer that we didn't treat but she received support, care and counseling from the Cancer Center. So you see that the Cancer Center is near and dear to my heart and raising money for it while playing my game is the least I can do!
