Become a HERO Volunteer
The CHaD HERO could not exist without the dedication and support of volunteers. From helping us plan and prepare for the event to working along our route, checking in participants or running a booth at the HERO Festival, there are a myriad of ways which volunteers bring the CHaD HERO to life.

Volunteer Opportunities
HERO Volunteers contribute to our program year-round. Below are examples of the various ways you can support the CHaD HERO both pre-event and on event day!
Pre-Event Volunteers:
- Marketing and material distribution (Upper Valley area)
- Promotional events (i.e. tables/booths at fairs or festivals)
- Participant outreach
- Office support
- Inventory and event preparations
Event Day Volunteers:
- Check-in
- Food Tent
- Kid Zone
- Route Support
- Set up & Pack Up
- Medical
- And more!

Volunteer registration is now open. If you do not see a role or shift you would like listed, please send us an email at chadhero@hitchcock.org.
Please note, if you would like to set up a CHaD HERO fundraising page as a volunteer, please register to volunteer and select the box to have a page activated for you.
