This past year, Belmont HillI School lost a cherished member of its community in the passing of Bill Mahoney. As head of communications, Bill worked tirelessly behind the scenes to showcase our school’s values to the broader community. But first and foremost, he embodied these values and led his life, both on and off campus, with humility, kindness, humor, hard work, and a healthy love of competition and sports (particularly Boston sports)! In memory of Bill, and in recognition of all the Belmont Hill families and friends who have been affected by cancer, we will be participating in The Prouty, alongside thousands of others, to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 as a team and all of the funds we raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.
