This year, I will be participating in The Prouty along with my family members who will bike, walk, row, golf and more to raise money for the Dartmouth Cancer Center in honor of my father, Ken Robertson.
My Dad faced his battle with cancer with strength and grace, inspiring everyone who knew him. My three children, who were lucky enough to see him almost daily until the day he died, will remember his witty humor - even when he wasn't feeling well. He was such a people person bringing smiles and laughs to us all. While grieving his loss, this event channels that grief into something meaningful.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
