As many of you know, in 2021 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - a cancer of the bone marrow. After 5 months of treatment, and ongoing maintenance, I am doing very well living with this cancer.

I am thankful to have received excellent care and treatment at the Dartmouth Cancer Center which included a connection to a new passion for me - rowing! Through the Cancer Center, I was introduced to CReW (Cancer Recovery Through Rowing). CReW is a program run by passionate (rowing) volunteer coaches for anyone who has or had cancer, that encourages staying fit through rowing on the water and on the land using rowing machines, all year long.

I joined this Prouty team along with many of my fellow community members who will bike, walk, row, golf and more to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Together, we will go all in to end cancer.  I will be able to participate in CReW’s Prouty row on July 13th, as well as rowing weekly on the Connecticut River through the summer and fall, and are asking for your support, by donating to the Prouty through my personal fundraising page.

All money raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians at the Dartmouth Cancer Center who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer.
