The Prouty is a local Upper Valley fundraiser for the Dartmouth Cancer Center. I'm participating in the cycling component, but there's other people who are walking, rowing, golfing, etc. 

The money we raise goes towards both research and support services for patients at DHMC and their family members.

I'm participating with a team of other students through my sorority, AXiD, but my choice to participate is also deeply personal. Having lost my mom to cancer this past year, I hope to honor her memory by participating in events like the Prouty.
