Kayaking for Cancer on Saturday, July 9th!
On July 9th, I will be participating in the 41st Annual Prouty with my mother by paddling 13.5 miles down the Connecticut River from Westmoreland, NH to Brattleboro, VT. My mother is a breast cancer survivor and has organized this event as a way to participate in The Prouty and raise awareness and funds for cancer research and patient care. Last year, 38 paddlers spent a long, beautiful day on the Connecticut River and raised more than $33,000 for The Prouty — join us on July 9th and help us break last year's record!
More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes.* It’s a universal problem that touches everyone, including the most important people in our lives. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

Here are two ways that you can help support patients, doctors and caregivers in the fight against cancer:
- Join me! Register today for the 41st Annual Prouty. You can participate in your own event or email my mother @jackie.caserta@gmail.com for details on joining us for this Connecticut River Paddling Adventure (kayak, canoe, or paddle board!)
- Make a donation to my Prouty fundraiser by clicking the the ‘donate’ button to support my efforts in the 2022 Prouty.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for your support!
Together, we are changing lives. Together, we will end cancer.

I am registered for the Prouty Row in 2021.
