Welcome to my personal Prouty page!
Thank you for your support in the 41th Prouty!
On July 8-9, I will be participating in The Prouty along with thousands of my fellow community members who will bike, walk, row, golf and more to raise money for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Together, we will go all in to end cancer.
More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes.* It’s a universal problem that touches everyone, including the most important people in our lives. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

Why I Prouty!
We have been a Prouty family for more than 25 years! My mom started her work with the Prouty to honor the memory of her mother who passed from cancer, and it became a family thing. Then, my mom was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma and needed surgery and immunotherapy and The Prouty had new meaning for me. No one's battle/journey with cancer is easy, but we are so lucky to have the Norris Cotton Cancer Center close by. This has allowed my mom to be able to get her infusions close to home, at a world class cancer center that is and has been participating in the research that makes her immunotherapy treatment possible. The Prouty raises money for cancer research as well as patient and family support services at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. We feel we can all make a difference in the fight against cancer. This is why we Prouty!
Our Team: For The Mamas
This is a team where everyone is welcome. The name, For The Mamas, is to honor the mamas of three close friends, my mama, and their battles with cancer. All four mamas were being treated at The Norris Cotton Cancer Center. This is a very fitting name to me also because my mom began her work with the Prouty many years ago in honor of her mother who passed from cancer.
Thanks for joining me and supporting me! Let’s Prouty!

***All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.

I am registered for the Prouty Walk in 2021.
