Hello from me in Hanover, NH
Dear good friends from over the years and miles,
This year marks five years since my prostate cancer diagnosis, complicated surgery and radiation treatments, but good news...I'm still here and cancer-free! Plus, lucky enough to be celebrating my 75th spin around the sun this month!!
As part of my 'party', I am again rowing with a beautiful group of fellow cancer survivors, mostly women, to raise funds for the Dartmouth Hospital Cancer Center (where Barbara also volunteers as a librarian), in The Prouty, a multisport event, joined by too many others affected by cancer (picture attached). Our group has been practicing hard all winter indoors and we're now out on the river again.
I will really appreciate your donation in support of our efforts, which will be 100% matched by a local philanthropic family. The care and expertise provided by Dartmouth to thousands of patients like me is truly lifesaving.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for your support!
Your friend and fighter,
Frank
