This year, I will be participating in The Prouty as part of CWA, joining thousands of my fellow community members who are going all in to end cancer. I'll be piloting a passenger (human… sorry doggie) in the Trishaw, which is a very cool rig that lets people with mobility challenges enjoy the sensation of getting wind in their hair, and lets them enjoy the Prouty as well. We're biking to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center.

More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes. I've lost dear friends far too soon, and you probably have been touched by the disease too. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
