Heading to the Prouty Again!
On July 8-9, I will be participating in The Prouty along with thousands of my fellow community members who will bike, walk, row, golf and more to raise money for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Together, we will go all in to end cancer.
If you know me, you know that I have had breast cancer-- TWICE. One for each breast. Last summer after I rowed in the Prouty, I had my second breast cancer surgery, and then had radiation until early fall. I did well again, and I am now cured of my cancer (fingers crossed!)
Here's the thing: I am SO LUCKY. My cancers were detected very early. I live less than five miles from Dartmouth-Hitchcock & Norris Cotton Cancer Center. NCCC provides outstanding care for every aspect of people with cancer, any age, any stage, including care for their spiritual and emotional well-being as well as state-of-the-art medical care. AND they are doing research that will help contribute to curing cancer in new and different ways someday.
Here are two ways that you can help support patients, doctors and caregivers in the fight against cancer:
- Join me! Register for The Prouty today. (You can take part no matter where you are!)
- Make a gift to my Prouty fundraiser and help me reach my goal. Click the ‘donate’ button to support my efforts in the 2022 Prouty.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for your support!
Together, we are changing lives. Together, we will end cancer.

I am registered for the Prouty Row in 2021.
