Welcome to the Walsh Team Fundraising Page
This year, Jamie and I are pushing ourselves and we are participating in the Prouty Ultimate for the first time. We haven't biked over 50 miles in years, but will be riding 75 miles Friday and then 50 miles with the kids Saturday.
We have participated in the Prouty most years since we moved to new Hampshire in 2006, including two years virtually, 2020 and 2022. The Prouty became even more personal to us after Jamie's dad, Poppy, received his cancer care through DHMC and ultimately passed at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care.
We have lost others over the years to cancer and watched others successfully win their battles with cancer. This year, we're choosing to challenge ourselves and hope to earn the most money yet to support cancer research.
We love how the Prouty brings hundreds of people together to fight cancer. More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes.* It’s a universal problem that touches everyone, including the most important people in our lives. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center. Hope starts here!
Here are two ways that you can help support patients, doctors and caregivers in the fight against cancer:
- Join me! Register for The Prouty today.
- Make a gift to my Prouty fundraiser and help me reach my goal. Click the ‘donate’ button to support my efforts in the 2025 Prouty.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for your support!
Hope starts here. Hope starts with you.
