My Cancer Journey started in 2002! I was asked to be a coach for TNT (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team N Training). It raised money for Blood Cancer Research. I did this for 6-7 years. When I retired from work, the first thing I did was raise money for TNT to help Cancer patients. I ran from Canada to Massachusetts raising money for Cancer. The following year I ran from Vermont to the Ocean (The Atlantic- NOT the Pacific) for TNT again raising money for Cancer. The next year I ran down Massachusetts for Cancer with in KIDS. The next year I ran across Connecticut For Breast Cancer. As I couldn't run anymore, I decided to bike the 100 mile Prouty for Cancer Ride.. I have done it for the last 5 years.
Last December I found out I had CANCER. Having recently had surgery to have it removed. We, believe at this time it has all been removed.
So this year I not only get to ride with a ribbon with the name for someone you Love or Lost, I now ride with my name.
Please help me End Cancer in our lifetime. I may not be able to ride as far as in the past, but I will ride again.
