Cancer has a way of reminding us that humanity is one shared story. It doesn’t discriminate, doesn’t pause at borders, and doesn’t care about backgrounds or circumstances. It reaches into every community, touching families who never imagined they’d be facing it. And because of that, we come together. We ride, we rally, we raise funds, and we support research with the belief that every effort—big or small—pushes the world a little closer to breakthroughs that save lives.
This year, though, the mission feels heavier. It’s no longer just about supporting the cause I believe in; it’s about supporting a sibling. Each of us carries someone in our heart as we ride—someone fighting, someone recovering, someone we miss deeply. That personal connection turns determination into something deeper.
