Dear Friends,

Thank you to everyone who helped support me last year in The Prouty 20-mile bike ride to raise money for Dartmouth Cancer Center and in honor of my friend, Maura Scully – a woman extraordinaire! Although the 20-miles is but a mere drop in the bucket of the miles I would have ridden in the past, this will be a big accomplishment for this year. I mean, have you been through the hills of New Hampshire lately? On a BIKE?!!! Whew!

Did you know that more than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes. It’s a universal problem that touches everyone, including the most important people in our lives. That’s why I joined The Prouty. All funds I raise will go towards cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center.

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
