Always Doing it for Bob & the Upper Valley Community
This year, I will once again be participating in The Prouty, joining thousands of fellow community members who will bike, walk, row, golf, and more to raise critical funds for Dartmouth Cancer Center.
I Prouty in honor of my dad, Bob Baxter, a cancer survivor who was given 20 extra years of life thanks to vital cancer research. I’m also participating to give back to the incredible Upper Valley community that has so warmly welcomed our family—and to proudly represent the Cardigan Mountain School team once again.
More than one third of all people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes.* It’s a universal challenge that touches us all—including the people we love most. That’s why I Prouty. Every dollar I raise supports cutting-edge research and essential patient services at the Cancer Center. Hope truly starts here.
Here are two ways you can support patients, doctors, and caregivers in the fight against cancer:

Funds raised power innovative work by researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating cancer. They also support patient and family services that might otherwise go unfunded—such as support groups, massage and art therapy, transportation, grocery assistance, and more.
Thank you for being part of this meaningful effort.
Hope starts here. Hope starts with you.
