Hi Everyone,

On July 11 and 12 I will be riding my bike 100 miles and rowing 20  to raise money for the Dartmouth Cancer Center in Hanover, New Hampshire.  I would appreciate your support for this worthy cause.   

This event, The Prouty™, began in 1982 when four Cancer Center nurses, inspired by the courage of their patient, Audrey Prouty, committed to cycling 100 miles through the White Mountains of New Hampshire​.  44 years later, this year's goal is for the several thousand participants, including yours truly, to raise $10 million dollars.  

The Dartmouth Cancer Center serves a large swath of New England where cancer patients have few other nearby resources for treatment.   All of the funds I raise go toward cutting-edge cancer research and crucial patient support services at the Cancer Center. Hope starts here!

All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
