Welcome to the Mike and Jeanne's Prouty page

On July 12, 2025, Jeanne and I are gearing up for the 44th Annual Prouty! Our goal is to raise $4,000 for cancer research and care.
This year’s a big one for me—my 40th consecutive 100-mile Prouty! And guess what? I’ll be turning 84 on August 19th! But honestly, Jeanne’s story is the real inspiration. Back in 2011, she was diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive skin cancer. Thanks to the incredible team at Dartmouth Health and the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, it was caught early and treated successfully.
The Prouty route through the Connecticut River Valley is a serious challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those battling cancer. We’re riding in honor of loved ones, especially Jeanne’s brother, JT, who was an avid cyclist and sadly lost his battle with cancer in 2013. We ride for him.
If you can, please hit the “donate” button and support us in the 2024 Prouty. Together, we can make a difference and help end cancer.
All funds raised will help fund innovative researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to finding ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. Prouty funds also provide meaningful patient and family support services that are otherwise unfunded—such as support groups, massage, art therapy programs, transportation and grocery assistance, and more.
Thanks for being such a great friend!

I am registered for the Prouty in 2021.
