I "Prouty" because my father was a 5-time cancer survivor who. thanks to research and the ensuing treatment advances, was able to see his grandchildren graduate from college, see them married and even greeted 3 of his great-grandchildren. The money raised by the Prouty fuels cancer research in the hopes that my father's success story becomes the expected outcome, not the stuff of miracles.
