This year I will be a part of a team riding for the Prouty fundraiser on July 13 in Hanover, New Hampshire. I’ll be riding 35 miles. This is the fourth year I've participated in it.

My father was treated for cancer and my grandmother died from it. The money is for the Dartmouth Cancer Center. It funds both cancer research and patient services such as therapy programs and support groups.

My dad was a patient at Dartmouth-Hitchcock a few years ago for a non-cancer-related disease. The staff did such a good job caring for and treating him during a difficult time, so I'm happy to support them with this fundraiser.
