Dear family and friends,

On Saturday, July 13, Grace and I are going to run (maybe walk for me ) in the 43rd Annual Prouty to raise money for cancer research and patient services at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

5K is quite a distance (for me, at least!) and The Prouty route through the Connecticut River Valley is challenging. But when I think of my friends and family who have battled cancer, I realize that my walk is nowhere near as tough as that. Unfortunately, we all know someone – a family member, friend, colleague, parent, child - who has been affected by this disease. Truly, cancer does not discriminate.
