Registration fees are NOT included in participants' fundraising minimums. Fundraising requirements need to be met by each individual participant, not a team total.

It is our goal and intention that participants fundraise the minimum amount by asking friends and family to support them with a donation, and NOT that participants pay the fundraising minimum outright.

If you have not met your fundraising minimum leading up to the event and prefer to pay the balance with a credit card, you may log on to prior to the event and make a donation to your fundraising page for the outstanding amount. This will save you time at bib-pickup and ensure you receive the proper credit for the donation. Participants who do not reach the required minimum by race day will be asked to pay the outstanding amount on race day. That amount may be paid by check, cash or credit card, although checks are preferred at the event. If it is not paid by October 9th, participants will be responsible for paying their remaining balance.

Registration for ALL participants is NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances. By registering, you are agreeing to pay the registration fee and meet the minimum fundraising requirement, even if you do not attend the event. Participants who do not reach the required fundraising minimum by October 9th will be asked to pay the outstanding amount on race day. That amount may be paid by check, cash or credit card. If it is not paid by October 9th, participants will be invoiced for their remaining balance.

All registrants other than virtual participants will receive a bib, event t-shirt, food, amenities and access to runner support in the Start/Finish Area.

Virtual participants register and fundraise but will not be present at the event and will not receive event amenities.

All participants should be aware of the possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19. Although the CHaD HERO event is being held as a hybrid (in-person and virtual), each participant should be aware that the risk of serious illness and death from COVID-19 does exist. For this reason, in order to help protect the health, safety and welfare of all event participants and the community, Dartmouth Health requires all participants in CHaD HERO to comply with CDC guidance and public health authority recommendations relative to COVID-19, including mask-wearing and practicing social distancing while participating in CHaD HERO. In addition, we ask any event participants who believe that they have been exposed to COVID-19 or who are experiencing any symptoms of illness such as a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell to consider alternative ways of demonstrating their support of CHaD and the CHaD HERO event, including making a direct cash donation to CHaD.
