Join us for an exciting day of hockey as firefighters, police officers and first responders from across the state of New Hampshire battle it out in one incredible competition on and off the ice for the kids and families of Dartmouth Health Children's.
Battle of the Badges Hockey proceeds are used to help kids with critical services such as support when they are in pediatric intensive care and management of chronic illnesses, as well as patient and family support services.

Battle of the Badges
2026 marks the 18th year of the Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship benefiting Dartmouth Health Children’s and CHaD. The game brings firefighters, first responders and police officers from across the state together to compete and raise critical awareness and funds for Dartmouth Health Children’s. Each player commits to fundraising and is partnered with a Dartmouth Health Children’s Ambassador as a way to deepen their engagement and connect with the game’s mission. Annually, the game attracts nearly 5,000 attendees and has raised over $3.5 million since it’s inception.

Every dollar raised through Battle of the Badges supports children and families facing medical challenges, ensuring they receive world-class care at Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). Each donation brings us closer to providing hope, healing, and brighter futures for young patients and families we serve.
