On March 15th nearly 5,000 spectators packed SNHU Arena to cheer on firefighters, police officers and first responders from across the state of New Hampshire as they battled it out in one incredible competition – on and off the ice for the kids and families of Dartmouth Health Children's. Together we have raised over $288,000 and counting for vital programs and services provided at Dartmouth Health Children’s.
Thank you to our players, officials, volunteers, partners, donors and fans for making the 18th annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship a great success.
We look forward to seeing you all at the 19th annual Battle of the Badges Game next March.

Battle of the Badges
2026 marks the 18th year of the Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship benefiting Dartmouth Health Children’s and CHaD. The game brings firefighters, first responders and police officers from across the state together to compete and raise critical awareness and funds for Dartmouth Health Children’s. Each player commits to fundraising and is partnered with a Dartmouth Health Children’s Ambassador as a way to deepen their engagement and connect with the game’s mission. Annually, the game attracts nearly 5,000 attendees and has raised over $3.5 million since it’s inception.
Dollars in Action
Every dollar raised through Battle of the Badges supports children and families facing medical challenges, ensuring they receive world-class care at Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). Your contributions help fund critical services, advanced treatments, and family support programs that make a real difference in their lives. Each donation brings us closer to providing hope, healing, and brighter futures for young patients and families we serve.
Our Hockey Buddies
Our Hockey Buddies represent the incredible things that are accomplished when we all collectively work together to make an impact.
Every Buddy has benefited from the care and services of Dartmouth Health Children's and CHaD.
