I’m a CHaD HERO and my mission is… to raise funds for the kids and programs at Dartmouth Health Children’s!

This is important to me because I needed the help of CHaD nurses, doctors, respiratory techs and ambulance staff many times. When severe asthma put me in critical condition, the CHaD Pediatric ICU kept me alive. They not only helped me recover, they also brought a T-Rex to my room on Halloween and gave me trick-or-treating bags when I couldn't join my siblings. Child Life workers helped me handle the awful masks and needles. When I got strong enough to sit up and do things, CHaD offered toys, stickers, coloring, games and books to pass the long days in the hospital. The food was great! My favorite was always the grilled cheese - it was perfect after a few days of being too sick to eat!
