Empowering Upper Valley youth through after school running programs, Finding Our Stride boosts fitness, self-esteem and resilience, and connects kids to peers, mentors and community. Finding Our Stride and the CHaD Hero have a long and wonderful partnership!
FOS runners have been participating in the CHaD Hero since 2016, with virtual options in 2020 and a combined FOS 10th anniversary/CHaD event in 2021. In 2019, FOS had the largest team at the Hero, with 465 runners, coaches and family members participating! In that year, we collectively raised more than $45,000 for CHaD. Our goal for this year is to surpass our 2019 record, for participants and dollars raised!
* Dartmouth Health Children’s serves 95,000 unique pediatric patients annually from across Northern New Englan
* No child is ever turned away due to financial or insurance circumstance
* The Child Life Program alone is able to serve 12,000 kids each year thanks, in part, to fundraising from the CHaD HERO.
