Sept. 19 - Sept. 26, 2021 | Virtual
Sept. 26, 2021 | 5K Run | Hanover, NH*
The CHaD HERO is the premier fundraising and athletic event benefiting CHaD, Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Starting in 2006 as just a half marathon run, it has grown to also include a competitive 5K run, Cam's Course 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K walk, a 5 mile hike, a 25 or 50 mile bike ride, and a Virtual Quest where participants can complete their own unique activity and support CHaD from anywhere in the world. There is something for everyone, everywhere!
The 16th Annual CHaD HERO will be a hybrid event. The majority of the event will take place virtually from September 19 - September 26, 2021, with an in-person 5K Run planned for September 26, 2021 in Hanover, NH. *Please note that the live portion of the event is contingent on CDC, state, local, Dartmouth College, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health guidelines at that time.
CHaD is anywhere kids receive care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and proceeds from the event support kids and families receiving care at any of CHaD's 13 locations across NH and VT. Check out the 2019 CHaD HERO Annual Report for details on your impact!
Because a HERO'S work is never done, lace up your shoes and help us reach our goal of raising $530,000 to make sure that all CHaD kids get the best care, in the right place, at the right time, every time.
WHY CHaD MATTERS
CHaD HERO proceeds are used to help CHaD kids with critical services such as support when they are in pediatric intensive care and management of chronic illnesses, as well as patient and family support services that are so important to the well-being of kids and their futures.
