This October, I am participating in the CHaD HERO Half Marathon in honor of my undergraduate thesis advisor and revered mentor to many, Dr. Jack Hoopes. 

Dr. Hoopes dedicated his life to cancer research at Dartmouth, loved his students, and ran 3 Boston marathons back in his day making this a perfect event for his commemoration.

- Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) is New Hampshire's only children's hospital
