Welcome to Maya Beauvineau's CHaD HERO Half-Marathon Page!
Hello!
For the past several years, I've always been heartened by the CHaD HERO race and run that takes place at Dartmouth College. Every year, people of all ages turn out in costumes of all kinds to walk/run/roll to raise funds for the Children's Hospital at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The campus is always lit up on the day of the CHaD, and every year I've wished I was out on the streets alongside the babies, students, staff, parents, and grandparents who all turn out in capes, tutus, and muscle suits. Finally, as I enter my senior year at Dartmouth, I am signing up to run the half-marathon this October!
To support this event, I am humbly asking you to donate to support the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Children's Hospital and the energizing CHaD run. Any donation helps! As a bonus (maybe, depending on your perspective and sense of humor) I will follow up with a pic of my super-cool outfit the day-of.
If you're not yet convinced, here's some more information:
1) Dartmouth Health Children’s serves 90,000 unique pediatric patients annually from across Northern New England
2) No child is ever turned away due to financial or insurance circumstances
3) Thanks to the continued generosity of The Jack & Dorothy Byrne Foundation, all CHaD HERO participant funds will be matched 1-to-1 (until the match is complete).
Thanks for considering a donation!
With gratitude,
Maya
