Welcome to Peter Sanderson's Running Page
This October, I’m participating in the 19th Annual CHaD HERO to raise crucial funds for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD).
Why I'm Running the Chad Half Marathon:
I'm running the Chad Half Marathon to celebrate life, health, and the incredible care that so many receive at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Eighteen years ago, the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock saved my life during a battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctors, nurses, and facilities were instrumental in my recovery.
Dartmouth Health - Children's Hospitals cutting-edge facilities and compassionate staff is a source of inspiration for many, and I consider myself privileged to have had access to such exceptional healthcare. My journey has come full circle, and I am now healthier and stronger than ever, thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at CHaD.
Today, I run for all those affected by cancer, including those who have lost their battle and those currently fighting. I am running for everyone who has been touched by this disease. CHaD gave me a second chance at life. I run to give back and raise awareness for those who may not have the same access to quality healthcare in our country.
Join me in supporting this cause and honoring the lives impacted by cancer.
Please support my run with a donation today.
